What This VBA Macro Code Does
Below is a simple VBA macro I used to measure a group of cells to ensure the various widths totaled the width of one of my cells. This allowed me to quickly ensure my proportions on my dashboard were even. Enjoy!
'PURPOSE: Provide Height and Width of Currently Selected Cell Range
Dim cell As Range
Dim Width As Long
Dim Height As Long
'Measure Selection Height
For Each cell In Selection.Cells.Columns(1)
Height = Height + cell.Height
'Measure Selection Width
For Each cell In Selection.Cells.Rows(1)
Width = Width + cell.Width
MsgBox "Height: " & Height & "px" & vbCr & "Width: " _
& Width & "px", , "Dimensions"
