What This VBA Code Does
If you are using Headers or Footers for your spreadsheets, the chances are you're going to want to incorporate your company's logo. Using VBA code, you can automate this process.
First, you will need to save your logo file to a specific place in on your computer. I recommend saving the file to your Add-ins folder or another location where there is little chance of you accidentally modifying or deleting either the folder or file name.
This macro works for one or multiple sheets selected.
'PURPOSE: Insert Image File into Spreadsheet Header or Footer on every selected worksheet
Dim sht As Worksheet
Dim ImagePath As String
Dim Validation As String
'Where is Image Located?
ImagePath = "C:\Users\chris\Documents\Company Logo.png"
'Does the Image File Exist?
On Error Resume Next
Validation = Dir(ImagePath)
On Error GoTo 0
If Validation = "" Then
MsgBox "Could not locate the image file located here: " & ImagePath
'Add Image To Each Active Sheet
For Each sht In ActiveWorkbook.Windows(1).SelectedSheets
'Insert Image (ie "LeftFooter","CenterFooter","RightFooter", _
sht.PageSetup.LeftFooter = "&G"
sht.PageSetup.LeftFooterPicture.Filename = ImagePath
'Ensure Pagebreaks don't show (they are annoying!)
sht.DisplayPageBreaks = False
